Smoothies have become a regular favourite in our home, and not just for breakfast, or a snack. Frequently we prefer a smoothie for a lighter lunch or dinner, especially when on the go. This Strawberry Oatmeal Smoothie is just one of the smoothies that we find perfect for any meal.

THIS STRAWBERRY OATMEAL BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE IS:

This strawberry smoothie is thick, creamy, and loaded with flavour.

Serves: 1 or 2

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • ¼ cup oats
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • ½ cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 tsp. ground flax
  • 1 Tbsp. chia seeds
  • 6 oz vanilla greek yogurt
  • ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place everything into your blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Enjoy!
One note about thìs smoothìe- I use my BlendTec blender whìch ìs really powerful and blends the heck out of stuff so thìs ìs really a smooth smoothìe for me. ìf you have a less powerful blender, You can just let ìt blend longer ìf you want ìt really smooth.
